Now counseling with her masters in clinical psychology, Chris has experience as a psychotherapist in diverse areas of mental health concerns. Formerly a Chemist, Scientist, Business Woman, Founder of one of the Nations’ most successful children’s book companies – Dalmatian Press, International Author, Speaker, Recurring Cancer Survivor, and now pursuing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, she has been interviewed by Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, featured in Southern Living among numerous other publications, and has appeared on Emmy Award winning Television as an expert in Identity Branding. She teaches at Vanderbilt University, Belmont, Lipscomb, and MTSU.

In 2008 Chris helped establish JourneyWorks, a Christian counseling center at GracePointe Church in Franklin, TN. As Pastor of counseling she practices a message about lasting and meaningful lives based on truth and good intention. It is about a loving relationship with one’s self, and awareness of what happens when people know that they matter to God and to the world.

She is happily married for over 20 years and says the best thing on her resume is that she is happier than ever living in this moment called NOW.
