Meeting Jesus Again | GracePointe Church

This Sunday Josh is starting a new series about Jesus. Over these weeks we will explore who Jesus was historically, and also who Jesus might be for us today.

This week we’ll begin with two questions:

1. How do we know anything about Jesus? What are the sources for our information?

2. Why does Jesus still matter for so many of us? What is it about him that keeps us coming back again and again?

We can’t wait to see you this Sunday online and in person as we begin, “Meeting Jesus Again For the First Time”!

Epiphany: Colby Martin | GracePointe Church

Our first series of 2023 begins this Sunday! In this series called “Epiphany: Learning to See Differently,” we will be hearing stories of doing just that—seeing differently. The goal of this series is that, by hearing the stories of others, we will become better attuned to our own epiphany moments that occur.

For 20 years Colby has been a pastor. The first decade within evangelical Christianity, and this last decade as a post-evangelical, progressive Christian. He’s the author of two books, UnClobber: Rethinking our Misuse of the Bible on Homosexuality, and The SHIFT, a survival guide for becoming a progressive Christian—for which he’s currently on a nationwide tour, sharing with communities about a vision for a kind of Christian practice but with a progressive flavor. He planted a progressive Christian church in San Diego in 2014 called Sojourn Grace Collective and enjoys golfing, running, and yoga.
